HONEST FIT FIRST

Is Pillowblox Right for You?

Pillowblox is not one-size-fits-all. Your dominant sleep position should be the first filter when choosing a product.

BEST FIT

Predominantly a side sleeper

Pillowblox Original is primarily designed for the gap created by your shoulder when you sleep on your side.

POSSIBLE FIT

Side sleeper who occasionally sleeps on their back

It may work well, but pillow height and firmness should be considered alongside your habits and mattress.

CHECK FIRST

Predominantly a back sleeper

The 10.5 cm profile may feel too high. Speak with our team before purchasing.

NOT RECOMMENDED

Predominantly a stomach sleeper

Pillowblox Original is not designed as a low-profile pillow for stomach sleeping.

Your shoulder creates a gap. Your pillow needs to fill it.
WHY THE BLOCK SHAPE?

Your shoulder creates a gap. Your pillow needs to fill it.

Fill the shoulder gap

The block shape maintains a more consistent support area beneath the head and neck.

Support, not fluff

The feel is structured and supportive rather than highly puffed like a traditional hotel pillow.

Keep alignment simple

The goal is to help the head rest in a more neutral position. Pillowblox is a sleep-support product, not a medical device.

WHY THE VALUE IS DIFFERENT

The value is not only in the materials, but in how the support works.

Pillowblox is not an ordinary fluffy pillow. Its difference is best understood through function, fit, and consistency throughout the night.

Soft and firm do not mean deep-sinking or board-hard.
SUPPORTIVE, NOT FLUFFY

Soft and firm do not mean deep-sinking or board-hard.

The softer side follows the shape of your head more closely, while the firmer side provides a more responsive and stable surface.

Soft Side

More contouring for users who prefer a gentler feel.

Firm Side

More stable for users who do not want their head to keep sinking into the pillow.

Set the Right Expectation

If you are used to a highly fluffy microfiber or hotel pillow, Pillowblox may feel different on the first night.

10.5 cm is a starting point, not a guaranteed fit for everyone.
FIT & SIZE

10.5 cm is a starting point, not a guaranteed fit for everyone.

Fit is affected by shoulder shape, mattress firmness, sleep position, and comfort preference. The Extra Layer adds 2.5 cm when the setup feels too low.

Important

13 cm is the total pillow height after adding the Extra Layer. It is not a shoulder-width measurement.

Start at 10.5 cm

A practical starting point for small-to-medium shoulders, users below approximately 175 cm, or soft-to-medium mattresses.

Consider 13 cm

Consider adding the Extra Layer if you are approximately 175 cm or taller with broad shoulders, especially on a medium-firm or firm mattress.

BUILT FOR SIDE SLEEPERS

Pillowblox began with a genuine side-sleeping problem.

Dwi Christanti worked in the bedding industry before a serious health condition left her able to sleep on only one side. When existing pillows did not provide the support she needed, product development began with that personal need.

This is why the website does more than present product claims. It also explains how each product works, who it may suit, what adaptation may feel like, and who may not be a good fit.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Choose with fewer assumptions.

Choose with fewer assumptions.

How do I know whether I am really a side sleeper?

You are likely a side sleeper if you regularly wake up on your side, spend most of the night on one side, or feel that your shoulder and neck need more support when side sleeping, even if you initially fall asleep on your back.

Can Pillowblox work for a side sleeper who sometimes sleeps on their back?

It may, especially if side sleeping remains your dominant position. However, the 10.5 cm profile may feel higher while you are on your back. Start with the softer side and consider your mattress firmness and shoulder shape before purchasing.

Is Pillowblox suitable for predominantly back or stomach sleepers?

Pillowblox Original is designed primarily for side sleeping. Predominantly back sleepers should assess the height carefully. Predominantly stomach sleepers generally need a thinner pillow and are not the main target user for this design.

I have broad shoulders. Is 10.5 cm high enough?

10.5 cm is a starting point. As a practical guide, users around 175 cm or taller with broad shoulders and a medium-firm or firm mattress may be more likely to need a total height of 13 cm. Height alone is not the deciding factor; add the Extra Layer only if the head still drops toward the mattress.

Does mattress firmness affect the height I need?

Yes. Your shoulder usually sinks farther into a soft mattress, which may reduce the required pillow height. On a firm mattress, your shoulder remains more elevated above the surface, so the gap may be larger.

Does Natural Latex have an initial smell?

Natural Latex may have a light material scent when first opened. Air the product in a shaded, well-ventilated room and do not place the core in direct sunlight. The initial scent usually decreases over time.
